He will promote with a concert and other social contribution activities such as providing pizza for low-income children and other pizza donations. “NEXT LEVEL” tops the Oricon’s “Ninki-Chart” in the launch of the week. In March, “This Is The One” from Utada to score the highest. NINKI is a list that provides a forecast for the interest for new launches. 356 of 400 people said they are interested in buying the albums. Figures from Ninki can be very divergent from the final sales results, so do not have too high expectations.
The NINKI ratings are the results of a poll conducted by Oricon indicating interest in an upcoming release. Although the ratings are never a true reflection of sales, it does give a strong prediction about where the single/album will place in terms of popularity amongst the Japanese public. having said so, they are NOT an indication of how it will perform in terms of chart positioning and total sales for the week.

Jang Ja Yeon, who recently shot to fame by playing Sunny on “Boys Over Flowers,” has committed suicide. Jang was found dead in her apartment in Bundang and the cause of death was hanging. Police speculate that the suicide took place at about 4:30 in the afternoon, and they were notified of the death three hours later.
The cast of “Boys Over Flowers” has expressed shock upon hearing the news, and the schedule of production might have to be changed in order to accommodate for the cast attending Jang’s wake, which is said to be at the Samsung Medical Center and will take place tomorrow morning on the 8th.
Jang was 27 years old and “Boys Over Flowers” is her second drama project. She recently attended the 45th Annual Baeksang Awards with the drama cast.
