2 idol groups So Nyeo Shi Dae and 2PM will be remaking the song ‘In the Summer’ by hip hop duo famous back in the 90s Deux (Lee HyunDo and late Kim SeongJae).
The song was released in 1994, with this fun and enjoyable rhythm and cool atmosphere of the song, it has been remade by many artistes during summer performances.
With that So Nyeo Shi Dae members Yuri, HyoYeon, Sunny, YooA,SooYoung and SeoHyun wll be performing the song ‘In the Summer’ live on MBC Music Core on 1st August.
And also, group 2PM members TaekYeon and WooYoung will be performing this song as well on SBS Inkigayo on 2nd August.

TaeYeon duet ‘A Goose’s Dream’ with Lee Jeok causes topic amongst netizens
A video of So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon singing a duet ‘A Goose’s Dream’ with singer Lee Jeok has become a topic amongst netizens.
The 2 were at LA Hollywood Bowl on 9th May where they sang the duet. And the fanvideos of the performances were uploaded online.
The song is a remake of the original ‘A Goose’s Dream’ by singer In Sooni in 1997 , but with a different feel than the original version.
Fans’ responses to the video, “TaeYeon is really something. Even her high pitches are so natural and great”, “This is a very touching scene of a senior and junior singer singing together” etc.

The duet ‘You Raise Me Up’ sang by So Nyeo Shi Dae Jessica and Lena Park (Park Jung Hyun) during the Korea Music Festival at Hollywood Bowl on 9th May has become the topic amongst netizens.
After the performance, Park Jung Hyun and Jessica said, “It was fun”, “Really fun and interesting”. This is the first time the 2 sang together.

The group that swept the Korean music industry in early 2009 with the “Gee syndrome”, SNSD, is aiming to do so again.
SNSD’s company SM Entertainment said that SNSD will comeback on the 25th with their second mini album. They are receiving a lot of attention because of their record numbers in album sales, mobile downloads, online charts, and all music charts, as well as creating the record of being number 1 for 9 weeks on KBS Mubank.
SNSD is looking to change once again for this mini album and is also aiming to create another SNSD craze. The company said that the second mini album contains all of SNSD’s charms as well as great music that will show the public the power of SNSD.
“We are happy to come back with a new song and a new performance.” SNSD said, “We are all working hard so anticipate our transformation and support us.”

The 9 members of Girls’ Generation who have been enjoying high popularity thanks to their song Gee, will end all album activities at the end of March . Other than some who will be taking on CF shoots, filming, etc most of them will be taking a well-deserved break.
In a statement from SM Entertainment, “After appearing on the 23rd March episode of MBC Come to Play, Girls’ Generation will not be appearing on any other variety shows for the time being.” In addition, the girls will be taking part in the Pattaya International Music Festival 2009 with Shinee this weekend and will not be appearing on Music Bank, Music Core, Inkigayo.
Gee has achieved big success on the charts, winning K-Chart on Music Bank for a record 9 consecutive times, Mutizen on Inkigayo for 3 times and even experienced success overseas in Thailand, winning the Channel [V] Countdown Asian Chart for 4 straight weeks and being Top Artist of the Month for February.
